After a long.., and very hot summer, we’re back open again. It was my decision to close for the summer for a number of reasons, the least of which was the unimaginable heat that we’ve been dealing with.
However, we’re back open now and this last Monday fed 31 families!
We served chili dogs to all who came by and they were a hit. Especially with the kids.
I want to thank all the volunteers that showed up to help box up and carry out food. I was glad to have the help and loved hearing about your summers.
For those that didn’t make it out I’m sure I’ll be seeing you soon and would love to hear how your summers went.
Well.., my granddaughter’s crying.., wanting me to pick her up. I’ll talk to you later.
